Funny how it's an Alouette that comes out and states it's such a big problem. Maybe he should have mentioned Emry's helmet to helmet blindside hit to Edwards that was both blatant and dangerous - it only ended up with a dismal fine as well.
I really hope next season anyone who hits someone in the head like that AT LEAST gets taken out of the next game against the same team. _________________ The lazier you are today, the more productive you'll be tomorrow.

It's not just hits to the head that are blatant and dangerous. Look at every tackle attempt from Davis Sanchez...he goes straight for the knees each time. _________________ My favourite penalty is "Illegal Substitution - Too Many Men" |

Don't miss the point. I could label these posts as 'Winnipeggers whine about the Alouettes'.
The CBC just ran a documentary on how football players suffer from a host of issues later in life due to accumulative hits to the head.
Hardly 'whining about hits to the head', unless you're a masochist who revels in watching people suffer injury. |

Actually that would be a sadist. A masochist would be someone who gets a thrill from being hit in the head. _________________ Paul LaPolice drives an invisible tractor. |

lol..
the fact remains that unless helmets are suddenly improved 10000 times.. head injuries and the lingering effects will continue..
the hits to the head are going to happen one way or another.. the Headhunting needs to be eliminated or else we are going to end up with a plethora of ex-football players whos brains look like the ones of 40 year boxing vets..
accidental bell ringings.. ok. deliberate helmet to helmet or knee to head so so forth.. that should be mandatory fine AND suspensions with a 2 or 3 strike rule implemented.. get caught twice or three times and your banned. _________________ -Television. -Brilliant. So now we got a huge guy theory, and a serial crusher theory. Top notch..
