Celebrating the history, the legends, and the community of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers — told the way fans have always told it.
Six corners of the archive that fans return to again and again.
Welcome to OurBombers.com, an independent labour of love built by supporters, for supporters. For more than two decades this address was a gathering place for people who bleed blue and gold — a message board, a scrapbook, and a memory bank for one of Canadian football's most storied clubs. This heritage archive keeps that spirit alive, telling the story of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers the way fans have always told it: with pride, with argument, and with a deep love of the prairie game.
We are not the team and we do not speak for the team. We are the people in the stands, the ones who remember where they were when the drought finally ended. What you'll find here is a curated tribute — championship history, the legends who wore the colours, the old barn on Maroons Road, and the culture that turns a Sunday afternoon into a lifelong loyalty.
New to the archive? These are the corners fans return to most:
Long before social media, OurBombers.com ran a busy fan forum where supporters dissected every snap. That community is the reason this archive exists. You can read about those years — and the friendships that outlasted the message board — on our community page. If you're new to three-down football entirely, our guide to the CFL explains why the Canadian game is faster, wider, and in many ways more fun than its cousin south of the border.
Founded in 1930, the club has been a fixture of Manitoba life for the better part of a century. It has known long droughts and glorious summers, heartbreak in November and redemption on the road. Through all of it, the relationship between the city and its football team has been unusually personal. For the official record — schedules, tickets, and current news — we always point fans to the club's own home at the official Winnipeg Blue Bombers website and the league at CFL.ca. What we offer instead is the fan's-eye view: the history, the heroes, and the heart.
Pull up a seat, browse the archive, and remember why you fell for this team in the first place. Once a Bomber fan, always a Bomber fan.
